A Manchester-based claimant firm has achieved a 90% success rate for bail and removal cases of asylum seekers within a year of launching its Immigration department.
Barings Law, which is known for its work in Data Breach and Business Interruption claims, celebrated the accomplishments following months of successful applications.
The firm offers a range of services for visas, citizenship, indefinite leave to remain, immigration issues, asylum support and passport services.

This accomplishment follows the firm’s recent win for a client to remain in the UK, just three days before he was set to be removed.
In 2023, 'Aden', whose real name has not been used, was ordered to leave the UK by the Home Office within five days after his asylum application was denied, despite fearing for his life due to a ‘blood feud’.
Desperate, he contacted several law firms with no success before turning to Barings Law Immigration Lawyer, Marinela Bouzo, in a last-minute effort.
Ms Bouzo worked quickly to overturn the decision, and in less than 72 hours, Aden was granted leave to remain in the UK.

“Not only did this order threaten to tear Aden away from his family, but it also risked violating his human rights. Any interference with those rights must be justified and proportionate.”
